Band Information:
The Mathenys are a Bluegrass/ Bluegrass Gospel group all born and raised in the great state of West Virginia. The band is comprised of Rick, Erin, and Kacey Matheny from Harrison county, Danny and David Reed from Upshur County, and Kenny Kendall from Lewis county. They have played for many fairs, benefits, festivals, churches, concerts, and other special events throughout the state. They have performed as the opening act for two national recording artists and a gospel hall of fame group. some other appearances include the W.V. public T.V. "Outlook" program and  on channel 5, WDTV, for the Bluegrass Preservation Society's Saturday morning bluegrass feature. They also featured in Grafitti magazine and other WV publications.
